<P>Leonard Cohen(唱片公司翻成李歐納.孔or雷諾.科恩)，加拿大學者、詩人、作家、文化評論、製作人、創作歌手…人稱「跨藝術文化領域的cult ?」意謂「被一群藝術尖端人士當作偶像膜拜著？」 </P>
<P>Cohen年紀已經不小，比披頭四(the Beatles)或滾石(the Rolling Stones)都要大個將近十歲，還比貓王(Elvis Presley)早一年。開始出唱片，已經34歲，對於歌唱事業來說，似乎太老了。</P>
<P>他先是寫了幾本書、以「名作家/名詩人」的身份投入「創作歌唱表演業」。差強可比擬苦苓、向陽之文字名人出唱片！</P>
<P>最開始是民謠女歌手Judy Collins唱了Cohen的歌Suzanne，大受歡迎，帶他一起辦演唱會，將他引入行。1968，Cohen終於出版了處女專輯【The Songs of Leonard Cohen】，這張專輯在許多的專業音樂雜誌都是5五顆星的滿分評鑑。目前已經有了13專輯，7張精選集，每張至少都有3顆星以上，大步分都是4顆星，4顆半星。

<P>Cohen的唱片或許並未大賣，卻對音樂後輩們影響深遠。有兩張向他致敬的專輯：【I'm Your Fan (Tribute to Leonard Cohen)】&amp;【Tower of Song: The Songs of Leonard Cohen】，一張是另類樂迷的最愛：REM、Ian McCulloch(echo &amp; the bunnymen)、Pixies、That Petrol Emotion、The Lilac Time、James、House of Love、Lloyd Cole、Nick Cave、John Cale；一張是流行巨星們：Don Henley、Trisha Yearwood、Sting、Bono(u2)、Tori Amos、Aaron Neville、Elton John、Willie Nelson、Peter Gabriel、Billy Joel、Suzanne Vega…大家都集合起來翻唱他的歌曲。另類＆流行兩頭通吃，這就是Leonard Cohen。</P>
<P>Cohen的歌聲您一定不陌生，特別有幾部優質電影都擺過他的歌：後後現代反媒體電影【閃靈殺手】(Natural Born Killers)、丹麥鬼才導演拉斯.馮.提爾(Lars von Trier)的【破浪而出】（Breaking the Waves）、女同志名片【夜幕低垂】（When Night Is Falling）、加拿大名導艾騰.伊格言的「色情酒店」(exotica)…這些都不是一般商業片，反倒是「影癡級名片」，更加確立了Leonard Cohen的「文化偶像」地位。當您聽到那沈緩、晦暗、憂愁…的輕聲低語，配合著影片傳達的「人性掙扎」，或許我們能更體會「我所願意的善，我反不做；我所不願意的惡，我倒去做。羅馬書7:19」</P>
<P>那麼，Leonard Cohen對基督徒來說有啥意義呢？</P>
<P>Cohen的歌常常引用聖經典故(或曰西洋文學典故)，細細品味他的詩、他的歌詞，從來不是敬拜讚美，反倒是「懷疑、沮喪、苦難、折磨…」，信仰對他來說，從不是充滿甘甜喜悅，而是「猛烈的挑戰」。當他唱「哈利路亞」時，藉由大衛王、大力士參孫的故事，看起來唱人生的感嘆多過於對 神的讚美，或許「感嘆人生」就是「讚美神」，「冀望在苦難人生中獲得一絲救贖」成為他的基本信仰態度。不過，在「順服」的功課上卻也不可少，才會有「If It Be Your Will」這樣的歌:『若那是你旨意，我將不再說甚麼…』

天生杀人狂</P>
<>影片讲述一对亡命情侣米奇和梅乐利的疯狂杀人旅程。米奇出生于暴力家庭，梅乐利的父亲暴戾无耻。在米奇协助下，梅乐利弑父杀母后，一同踏上不归的杀人旅途。他们逢人便杀，尤其杀警，短短三周内杀害53人。

    同时，两个疯狂的杀人恶魔被媒体渲染成为暴力文化的英雄人物，他们的形象遍布各大电视及新闻媒体。警探杰克紧紧追随他们，一心想今后写一本畅销书扬名天下。两人被捕入狱后，奸滑的典狱长华顿欣喜若狂，他想作为给凶犯行刑的法官而名垂史册。

　　电视台节目主持人盖尔一路上追踪报导这对杀人狂。米奇和梅乐利被捕后，盖尔冒险入狱进行现场采访，企图借此提高收视率和自己的知名度。岂料导致了一场监狱的大暴动，米奇和梅乐利趁乱越狱逃跑，他们在摄像机前射杀盖尔，随即逍遥法外。 </P>
