   "六弦低音惊天地，一声即出泣鬼神"，如此形容Smashing Pumpkins虽然夸张了些，但确是我几年来听他们音乐的一点心得体会。Smashing Pumpkins无疑是90年代很重要的一支另类摇滚乐团，也就是在以Nirvana为代表的Grunge音乐风起云涌，席卷乐坛的那个大浪潮年代，Smashing Pumpkins异军突起，他们开创了一种把激进摇滚、哥特摇滚、重金属融为一体的音乐风格，打下了一片属于自己的另类摇滚天地！那张著名的唱片《Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness》更是另类摇滚乐迷们爱不释手的佳作，视为必修课之一！十年间，Smashing Pumpkins通过不懈的奋斗和努力，在传奇人物Billy Corgan的英明带领下，成为公认的90年代最成功的另类的摇滚乐队，为地下摇滚能够冲击主流乐坛做出了不可估量的贡献！他们的音乐具有那股势不可挡的强劲气势，时刻爆发出一股摇滚能量，尤其是那强悍凌厉的失音吉他的重叠编织加上Corgan的招牌嗓音！令我们惊奇的是，他们的音乐作品中还酝酿着细腻的情感，有一种苦涩的美、凄凉的痛！我们不得不为此而感动，不得不惊叹这位才华横溢的奇才Billy Corgan带给我们的音乐！
